During these times full of fear and uncertainty about the pandemic, reassuring your guests they are staying in a property that has been cleaned and sanitized properly is of utmost importance.
There is nothing worse than staying somewhere and not being able to sleep at night thinking about germs, viruses or creepy crawlers.
This is something our team understands very well, so they put in the extra effort to make sure properties are clean and up to standards. We are constantly updating our cleaning methods to meet the new standards released by Government authorities, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Hotel and Lodging Associations and Airbnb itself.
Global Clean is now implementing an additional service for our holiday rental cleans following the new Airbnb Enhanced Cleaning Protocol in which we add additional steps to our regular cleaning in order to disinfect the property.
Furthermore, we has come up with an additional disinfection service called “Microbe Shield” where we internally mist the property with a product that has confirmed efficacy of more than 99.99% in deactivating the COVID-19 and has a long lasting effect of up to 30 days of shielding protection on hard surfaces. In addition to that, we directly apply the microbe shield to high touch areas and outdoor furniture. Upon disinfecting the premises, we put a seal on the main entrance of the property that proves to our guests that no one has entered the property after disinfection.
What does this mean for Airbnb hosts?
This means your Airbnb listing can enroll to receive an “Enhanced Clean” badge, which is predicted to attract a higher rate of bookings than those listings that haven’t opted for the program. In fact, guests will be able to filter listings by “Enhanced Cleaning Protocol” certification, giving them some kind of official reassurance that they are entering a virus-free environment.

Covid-19 has hit us hard but the industry is slowly getting back on their feet. It’s all about staying up to date in safety measures and relaying that information to travelers.
